About The Scrap Brain Zone, Progress through the heavy machines that make up robotniks army as you slide through the doors and fire spitting walls to suceed in trying to complete the levels but beware of those sliding roller platforms as they can confuse where your going at most times. A good tip too is to use the portals as they are very useful in getting you place to place faster than traveling the normal ways. After you do both zones you need to face robotnik yet again for a full on fight off between you and him, beware of his machines as they get more deadly by the second and also there are no more bonus levels sadly theres only eight in the whole game.

About The Labyrinth Zone, as you dive into the underworld of robotnik you need to go through the gaps in the brickwork in order to reach him but beware as since your underwater sonic can’t breave for long without grabbing a bubble for air. Avoid the spikes and traps as you swim around to collect the coins and emeralds to complete both Labyrinth levels, also theres a bonus level to this so collect them quick and finish quick to gain the rewards for sonic and your high score points. Battle robotnik again as he just can’t give up on defeating sonic, show him whos the real boss by wiping the floor with him and whacking the sign to finish up this cool zone with it’s epic background music.

About the Jungle Zone, Swing around vine to vine as you escape the jungle with sonic and floating around spinning your feet on the barrows to cross the deadly river swamps. Collect the emeralds to unlock the bonus level and collect as many coins as you can before the time frame runs out. Knock the sign to finish off the levels as you play another jungle zone level before then duking it out one to one with robotnik and his crazy machine, defeat him and progress to the other levels and zones.

About the bridge levels, cross through broken bridges and whack the bad guys along the way as you travel along all of the birdges to finish off the level as well as collecting secret gems across the way which will be shown in this video. The bonus level is a werid bouncy place to collect as many coins as you can before the time runs out to finish to spin the sign to end the level. You’ll then face even more bridges and crabs and piranhas with razor sharp teeth and killer wasps to then finish that level and head over to the boss battle between you and robotnik before then smashing him to bits to complete the bridge zone.

There will be new weekly updates as we now have set our system to add in new content onto emeraldgames.com every week. Plus this blog will be getting more content shoved into it too to keep you all happy.

Happy New Year!

Well i thought i’d post some youtube videos on here and here is some spooky stuff from sonic in a short mini movie called Night of the Werehog..

Hello Everyone,
Been busy with other sites and also i’m working along side this so… it’s hard to keep updating everything at once. SO! i’ve got over 10 content in line to be added every 24 hours onto emeraldgames.com and here’s your first one..

http://www.emeraldgames.com/games/272/sonic-and-the-gravity-rule.html

Enjoy the site & happy gaming!

I’d emailed the creator of the flash and asked some questions here was the responce.

Hello,
I was wondering if you could resolve this unstable flash game from your network, I’ll be more than happy to take over the database and other server load information for this flash game. Or even a full paid take over for it would be suited too.
But if not then please do explain your reasons thanks…

 He then responded with..

The network was taken down because the game was merely a non-profit demo that is now long outdated. The engines are being used in commercial games under development, but I feel its still important to finish the demo into a full game for the sake of the users. You are not the first to “offer” to take over the load, but in reality thats just taking the game for free, eh? When you mention “a full paid take over” you have to a bit more specific. If you would like to make a deal than perhaps something could be arranged, but if you are asking for the rights (eg removing my credit from it) then you are certainly barking up the wrong tree.

I have to say I don’t really appreciate emails telling me to “explain my reasons” for what I do with free games that I allow for webmasters to use also for free.

I then said..

Hey Jacob,
I own EmeraldGames.com which is part of my network “Pwnful Entertainment Ltd”, Alot of the visitors and guests visiting my site do suggest adding your game onto the site but i can never seem to find a working version of your game available. Your flash game really impressed me when it was functioning as i noticed it on your site a while ago but again your game has appeared as a suggestion for adding.

I would infact offer you a deal as my server is strong enough to handle the masses of users which the engine requires for your flash game. I can give you a paid offer for this and as well as having some sort of sponsorship on the game itself but its your game so at the end of the day you make the choice of putting your credit anywhere and making mines small.

The reason why i said that last part is because you diden’t reply before when i wrote to you regarding this, I thought that last bit would catch your attention to reply lol.

Diden’t mean to stur anything up there, So sorry about that.

 So he’d then said..

Okay sure that is fine, no hard feelings. Well sure, let us directly talk numbers and terms.

Before you make an offer though, just know that I am quite familiar with the industry and I am in fact doing a merger with an existing media firm, and I do know very well the black sheep of sponsorship, so please do not take me as a freelancer desperate for money with offers that are nothing more than insulting. I know Im coming off as an asshole, and Im sorry for that, but I know all too well the dirty tricks of companies such as Armor Games, who completely exploit developers for low wages. Im not accusing you of course, I do not know you, but again I want that to be clear.

With that aside Im open to discussion/negotiation and feel free to ask me anything!
Cheers,

Basicly he’s doing a deal with black sheep and he’s working with the members over there on getting his game and server up and running as they can offer him more resources since there already a flash dev community.

Also on newgrounds he said..

Hi guys, Blommestein here. The server & databases that power the game have been shut off for nearly 2 years I think, and will continue to be so for an indefinite amount of time. This was just a hobby back then but Im now working a full-time software job so I never got around to finalizing this.

Who knows though, maybe soon we’ll all come back and play multiplayer together in a newer version, would be fun eh? Cheers.

Regarding blommestein.net, I forgot to renew it and some assholes grabbed it automatically. Ah well

Hope this clears some stuff up for you guys too..

SegaSonic the Hedgehog, known by various names including Sonic Arcade, Sonic the Arcade and SEGASONIC Arcade was officially released into the Japanese arcades in June 1993. Versions of the arcade game appeared in limited quantities in arcades in anglophone countries, such as London’s Sega World.

The game was Sonic the Hedgehog’s first major arcade outing, and featured Sega’s mascot alongside two new characters: Ray The Flying Squirrel and Mighty the Armadillo. Mighty is one of the oldest characters in the Sonic franchise; he was a prototype for Sonic and thus bears an uncanny resemblance to him. Mighty would later feature in the low-profile Knuckles’ Chaotix for the Sega 32X; Ray has not appeared in any other official games, but appeared in some Archie comics. All three characters have identical controls and abilities.

Sonic Rush Adventure (ソニック ラッシュ アドベンチャー, Sonikku Rasshu Adobenchā?) is a Sonic the Hedgehog game for the Nintendo DS videogame handheld, developed by Dimps and Sonic Team, published by Sega. Sonic the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat return as playable characters, alongside a new female raccoon named Marine the Raccoon. Sonic Rush Adventure is a direct sequel to Sonic Rush, and the first game in the Sonic series to allow online head-to-head play, via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Sonic Rush is a video game developed by Sonic Team and Dimps exclusively for the Nintendo DS as part of Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog series and released on November 15, 2005. It is a 2D platform game, similar to earlier games in the series as well as later ones like Sonic Advance. Levels in the game are side-scrolling and displayed using both of the DS’s screens. However, boss battles, the main characters’ sprites, and a special stage are rendered in 3D, creating a 2.5D effect.

Sonic Rush’s storyline follows the intertwining adventures of a new character, Blaze the Cat, and the series’ main character, Sonic the Hedgehog. Blaze battles Doctor Eggman, the series’ main antagonist, to recollect the Sol Emeralds which he stole from her world, and Sonic battles Eggman Nega, Eggman’s mysterious lookalike, collecting the Chaos Emeralds—colored jewels that are a central theme to the series—along the way.

The game received mostly positive reviews from critics upon its release, with praise stemming from the game’s music and similarity to older games in the series and criticism stemming from its overall quickness. It sold 2.87 million copies worldwide. A sequel, Sonic Rush Adventure, was later developed and released in 2007.

Amy Rose (エミー・ローズ, Emī Rōzu?), known earlier as Rosy the Rascal, is a video game character who appears in most of the Sonic the Hedgehog series of video games developed by Sega’s Sonic Team. Amy Rose was created by Kazuyuki Hoshino and based on one of Kenji Terada’s characters. She was redesigned by Yuji Uekawa for Sonic Adventure. She is a pink, female, anthropomorphic hedgehog who plays the part of Sonic’s self-appointed girlfriend. She has chased Sonic since her debut in 1993, and has been trying to win his heart in everything from the series’ games to animated TV shows and comics. She was the first female character introduced into the Sonic The Hedgehog game universe and is also one of the series most popular characters, coming in fifth place in an official popularity poll.

Like Sonic and other characters in the series, Amy is significantly shorter and lighter than humans her same age. To be precise, she is 12 years old, 90 cm (2ft 11in) tall, and her weight is a secret. She was originally described as being 8 years old in Sonic CD, but as of Sonic Adventure and onwards, she has grown older. Also, with the addition of Cream the Rabbit, Amy seems to have found herself a sidekick similar to Sonic’s sidekick, Tails.

Knuckles the Echidna (ナックルズ・ザ・エキドゥナ, Nakkuruzu za Ekiduna?) is a video game character and a hero of the Sonic The Hedgehog game series, as well as some spin-off games and comics. His first appearance was Sonic the Hedgehog 3, released in 1994 to introduce a new rival for Sonic, presented as an antagonist who was tricked by Dr. Eggman into fighting Sonic. Knuckles is an adult red anthropomorphic echidna, who is both physically powerful and highly resilient. He has a white crescent on his chest. He is both a friend and a rival to Sonic.

Knuckles has four knuckles, two on each hand, which are actually sharp spikes. According to official Sonic Team polls, Knuckles is the fourth most popular character in the series, following behind Tails, Shadow, and Sonic.

Sonic the Hedgehog (ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ?), trademarked Sonic The Hedgehog,  is a video game character and the protagonist of the eponymous video game series of the same name released by Sega, as well as in numerous spin-off comics, cartoons and books. The first game in the franchise was released on June 23, 1991, in order to provide Sega with a mascot to rival Nintendo’s flagship character Mario (see 1991 in video gaming).[3][4] Since then, Sonic has become one of the world’s best-known video game characters, with his series having sold 50 million copies.  In 2005, Sonic was one of the first game character inductees into the Walk of Game, alongside Mario and Link.

Artist Naoto Ōshima, designer Hirokazu Yasuhara and programmer Yuji Naka are generally credited with the creation of the character, a blue 15-year-old anthropomorphic hedgehog, who has the ability to run faster than the speed of sound and the ability to curl up into a ball, primarily to attack enemies. This is a major part of the gameplay of the series. Sega has lately announced “Project Needlemouse” which they hope will bring Sonic back to his 2D roots.
